On March 24, 2012 we had our Grand Opening from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. It was a wonderful event, many magnificent shows from our students and Fred Astaire professional dancers, free raffle tickets from many businesses of Southbury, delicious wine tasting from Lake Wine & Spirits and mouthwatering cheese tasting by Artisan Food Store, both from Southbury, plus a buffet table with a variety of fruits and vegetables. First Selectman, Ed Edelson, performs the honor of cutting the ribbon at our Grand Opening ceremony.
We had a great time welcoming new friends from Southbury and many other towns.
We're very grateful for the proud support of Southbury's own Lake Wine & Spirits and Artisan Food Store who provided our party with wonderful wine and cheese tastings.
Many of our new students performed dances of exceptional style and grace.
Adele performed a perfect mambo.
Students Kim and John danced a spectacular tango.
A sensational rumba danced by Sammi.
An unforgettable waltz danced by Rose.
Karen danced a marvelous rumba.
Our Rising Star Alexis performed a tango.
Little Milana stole the spotlight with a sparkling cha-cha-cha.
Carolyn danced a wonderful tango with beautiful style.
A terrific foxtrot danced by May.
An exquisite buffet featuring a delicious variety of fruits and appetizers, was prepared by us especially for our guests. Special sponsor Pepsi provided Aquafina water and soft drinks.

Beautiful spring flowers decorated the table, lending brilliant color and delightful scent to our celebration.
The professional shows were a special highlight of the evening. Heiko and Vera Leyhausen performed an astonishing waltz.
Marko Paunovic and his partner Katia Liubenco performed a stunning cha-cha-cha.
Christian Lange and Kate Barnhill danced a brilliant waltz.
Rogelio Garcia and his dance partner Juliet Thibodeaux performed a dazzling Bolero.
And we prepared a wonderful mambo class for everyone who attended our event.

Our Grand Opening event was a huge success.
Our evening ended with a free raffle draw. Raffle prizes were provided by many Southbury businesses.
